Hello! My name is AJ, I am a UX Researcher and Data Scientist. Currently, I am finishing up my undergrad degree in Cognitive Systems at the University of British Columbia where I have developed strong foundations in Philosophy, Statistics, and Computer Science. I have been fortunate to work on diverse teams, including startups, NGOs, research labs, and multinational corporations.
Right now, I also work part-time as a UX Researcher at Global Relay, where I apply computational techniques to study user behavior at scale, better informing critical product and design decisions.
Outside of work and studies, I am broadly interested in the Philosophies of Mind & Aesthetics, Symbolic Systems (Language, Logic, etc.), and Machine Learning. In my spare time, I also enjoy cooking and bouldering.
